It’s book review time! In this solo episode I talk about one of the best books I read this year. It’s called Building a Story Brand and it was written by Donald Miller.
In this book Donald talks about the importance of clarity. Numerous times through out the book he repeats his mantra of “When You Confuse You Lose”.
As health practitioners, one of the ways that we confuse our communities is with the language that we use. We forget that not everyone in our community has a deep understanding of anatomy and physiology. When we start to use “jargon” and industry words it quickly overwhelms our audiences and they will switch off.
Instead…it’s important to simplify, take is slowly and remember that clarity always wins.
