For those of us in the health industry, all signs continue to point to increased preferences for video. In 2017, video represented 74% of all Internet traffic and this is projected to increase to 80% in the next 2 years.
And you might be surprised to learn that 4 times as many people in your community would much rather watch a video about you than read a blog about you.
The great news is that the possibility to grow authority for your practice and to educate your patients with video is at an all time high.

If you’re wanting to build an empire that drives high quality new patients to your practice then follow these three steps.
Step 1.Decide Who You're Going To Serve.(Focus on a single Audience)
It’s been said that when you try and communicate to everyone you end up communicating to no one. Your video content must show that you understand your patients problems and pain points. You’ll drastically increase the likelihood of your audience feeling understood when you stop trying to make videos for everyone and instead you focus on a particular niche.
Step 2. You MUST Deliver the GOODS.
If you want to build real value and create massive amounts of trust in your community your videos must be highly valuable and actionable. Too many times I see health practitioners websites, marketing and videos talking all about them. Stop talking about where you studied, the awards you’ve won and start delivering real world solutions to your patients and your community. Don’t hold anything back and be sure to share you’re best material.
Step 3. You Must Deliver Your Content Consistently.
It’s a busy and distracting world out there and your competition is doing their best to attract and win your patients attention, In order not to be forgotten it’s essential for you to be consistent with your content – at least once a week be providing your community with your cool and helpful content.

Don’t overcomplicate it thought. Keep your videos short 3-6minutes is ideal and using your iPhone is a great place to start.
